SANDY, March 1 (Special)--Mr. and Mrs. R.A. Ten Eyck celebrated their golden anniversery here February 26. Married at Gresham, they have lived at Marmot since then.
Mr. Ten Eyck took up a homestead there in 1883. His wife, then Rosa Belle Hoffman, came to Oregon in 1875 with her parents and the family purchased a home here.
There were 11 children of the couple, George, Edward, Henry and Mrs. Ivy Valsetti, all of Sandy; Mrs. Rose Lankins of Estacada, Mrs. Lillie Krey and Cora Ten Eyck of Eugene, Mrs. Dora Lenzie and Miles Ten Eyck of Portland, Mrs. Jennie Patterson of Tigard and Dr. Glenn Ten Eyck of Gebo, Wyoming.
