Bisbee Daily Review September 20, 1921

C.V. Boardman, who at one time had a ranch near the mouth of Miller Canyon in the Huachucas, died in Pasadena, Calif., last Saturday and his body was brought here for burial yesterday. Services were held at the Palace Undertaking Parlors at three o'clock and interment was made in Evergreen cemetery in the family lot, where his wife was buried a few years ago. Boardman left this section of the country about five months ago for Pasadena. A number of ranchers in the vicinity of Garces were in the city to attend the funeral.


TO ATTEND FUNERAL.

Mrs. T.W. Sperrow, of Pasadena, and Misses Hazel and Grace Boardman, Clarksburg, W. Va., arrived here yesterday from Pasadena to attend the funeral of the late C.V. Boardman held yesterday afternoon.

RETURN TO PASADENA

Mrs. T.W. Sperrow, accompanied by the Misses Hazal and Grace Boardman returned to Pasadena last evening after coming here to attend the funeral of C.V. Boardman Monday afternoon. The Misses Boardman were sisters of the deceased and after a short stay in Pasadena as the guests of Mrs. Sperrow they will return to their home in Clarksburg, W. Virginia.∼

His parents are Highland Victor Boardman (1849 – 1897) and Rebecca Anna Holmes (7 August 1848 – 30 December 1917)
