Mr. James William (Bill) Faulk of Hardwood Ln. in Albany died March 14, 2007 at
his residence. A native of Monroe County, AL, Mr. Faulk was of the Methodist
faith and served in the United States Army during the Berlin Crisis. He has
lived in Albany since 1955 where he worked with Suburban Furniture Co. and
Carter Home Furnishings from 1963 to 1970. He also worked a number of years
with Ogletree Oldsmobile, and then retired from First State Bank now known as
Region's Bank. Mr. Faulk was a true artisan who handcrafted various styles of
pocketknives and was the developer of technique that is now used in a well-
known retail knife manufacturing Co.

Survivors include his wife Chris R. Faulk of Albany, sons, Alan Faulk and his
wife Allyson of Dalton, Erik Faulk and his wife Amy of Leesburg, and Brent
Faulk of Albany, his grandchildren, Will and Matt Faulk, sister, Sadie and a
dear cherished friend Brandy Cameron. His parents, James R. and Julia MacArthur
Faulk and a sister Clarice preceded Mr. Faulk in death.
The funeral service will be Saturday 11 AM at Crown Hill Cemetery. Rev. W.H
Phillips officiating
