CHARLES ABBOTT, a resident of Clymer for the past 40 years died at the home of his daughter, Mrs Ray Lovell of Clymer yesterday at 11:05 pm.
He was born in Phillipsburg on Sept. 7, 1871.
He was a member of the Odd fellows in Saltsburg for the past 30 years.
His wife Annie preceded him in death in 1926. Surviving are the following children: Mrs. William Wilson of Detroit; Mrs. Lovell, mentioned above; Mrs. Robert Johnston of Clymer; Charles of Detroit; Mrs Clarence Long, Ashtabula, Ohio; and Annie at home.
Twenty-three grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, adn the following brothers and sisters survive: Daniel, Miss Jessie Abbott, and Mrs. Blanche Grebe, all of Phillipsburg; and John of Clymner.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete, will be published in tomorrow's Gazette.
