Teddy Gene Dean, 73, of Lonesome Pine Trail, Mosheim, passed away Saturday, June 1, 2013 at Laughlin Memorial Hospital.

He was a retired carpenter.

Mr. Dean attended Woods Memorial as long as his health permitted.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Lovie Wilkerson Dean and John Dean; a half-brother; Gilbert Sexton; and three half-sisters: Pauline Jones, Vinnie Sexton, and Margie Blair.

The family will receive friends 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm Monday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 8pm Monday, June 3, 2013, in Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Rev. Dennis Caldwell and Rev. Jeremy Seaton officiating.

Interment will follow at 10am Tuesday at Carters Chapel Cemetery. Family and friends are requested to meet at the funeral home at 9am Tuesday to go in procession to the committal service.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Carter, J.B. Wells, James Davis, Howard Cutshall, David Marshall, and William Brown.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to all his health care providers and doctors, as well as friends who have kept him in their prayers and helped the family with food and many other ways.
