James "Jim" Chester Moran (1931-2009), age 77 years, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at his residence. He was a native of Biloxi, Mississippi. He was an Eagle Scout, served in the U.S. Marines and retired from Boeing Aircraft after 40 years of service.
Mr. Moran is survived by his wife, Chrislee Ann Moran, four sons: Jim Moran & wife Hannah, Ken Moran, Keith Moran and Shawn Moran & wife Penny, two daughters; Vicki Moran and Regina Ketterman, two sisters; Jane Rogers and Gladys Wolfe, two brothers; Tom Moran and John Moran, twelve grandchildren; Melissa, Jennifer, Jessica, Staci, Nicole, Nick, Linnea, Michael, Brianna, Wesley, Toni and Beth, six great-grandchildren; Aiden, DasLynn, Mia, Maddison, Ryan and Katie. Pallbearers will be Jim Moran, Ken Moran, Keith Moran, Shawn Moran, Wesley Moran and Nick Ketterman.
Services for James "Jim" Chester Moran will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 14, 2009 at St. Terence Catholic Mission, 44847 Hwy 191 South, Many, La. Officiating will be Father Joe Martina. Visitation will be on Friday, February 13, 2009 from 5-9 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 9891 Texas Hwy, Many, La. 71449. The family request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the St. Terence Catholic Mission, 44847 Hwy 191, Many, La. 71449.
