He was born Feb. 23, 1908, in the town of Stettin, the son of the late Edward and Anna (Taege) Fenhaus. He married Selma Bartelt on Nov 30, 1931, in Waukegan, Ill. She survives. He farmed most of his life in the town of Wausau.

Survivors, besides his wife include two sons, Edward (Lou Ann) Fenhaus and Fred (Sally) Fenhaus, all of Wausau; two daughters, Karen (Clifford) Prigge and Kathleen (Michael) Bartelt, all of Wausau; 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grand-children; one brother, Melvin (Marion) Fenhaus, Wausau; one sister, Lenore (Al) Hickman, Wausau, and one sister-in-law, Adeline. He was preceded in death by one grandson, David Prigge, and two brothers, Elroy and Wilbur.
