He was killed in the civil war battle of Chickamauga on the 20th (Sunday) of September, the 2nd day of battle. Isaac, grandson of Isaac Anderson, Sr. (and Euphenmia (Morehead) Anderson) whom was a patriot whom fought in the Revolutionary War. Issac's brother later died in the Rebel War Prison in Danville, VA.
