Mr. Henderson, who was born Dec. 3, 1858, at Muscatine, Iowa, came to Carroll County in 1883.
He was married at Carroll Feb. 22, 1883. to Miss Millie Sebern.
For a time Mr. and Mrs. Henderson lived in Nebraska and Idaho, enduring many of the hardships of western pioneer life. In 1894 they returned to Carroll County, and have lived in or near Glldden since that time. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary Feb. 22, 1933.
Surviving Mr. Henderson are his wife, two daughters, Mrs. C. L. Haskins of Spokane, Wash., and Mrs. F. W. Franzwa of Glidden, and one son, R. F. Henderson, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He was the last of a family of three children. He was also preceded in death by a son, Clarence, who died July 20. 1885, at the age of eighteen months, and a daughter, Mrs. William D. Kitzinger, who died Sept. 24, 1925, at the age of thirty-seven.
Mr. Henderson was a member of the Methodist Church and the Masonic Lodge. He belonged to the Carroll Daily Herald Three-Quarter Century Club.
