She was a music and classroom teacher for 50 years. She taught at St. Mary Magdalene School, Sorgho (1948-49), Blessed Mother (1952-54), Sts. Joseph and Paul (1957-58), and Immaculate (1964-68) schools in Owensboro, at St. Paul, Leitchfield (1941-44), and in many other schools in Kentucky and Missouri. From 1985-92, she was the director of the Suzuki violin program at Brescia College. She was director of the Museum at Mount Saint Joseph from 1992 until her retirement in 2003.
