Rev. Oswald Eric Hensel, 65, of 3128 Pennsylvania St, Longview, died Nov. 6 of a heart attack. He was born in Platteville, WI, Jun 27, 1889.

He was a member of the Lutheran Church and served 25 years as a Lutheran minister before retiring due to ill health. He graduated from Northwestern College and Thiensville Lutheran Seminary at Milwaukee, WI. He was a professor at the Lutheran Seminary at Saginaw, MI, for 4 years.

Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth T., a teacher at Columbia Valley Gardens school; two sons, John G., attending Washington State College, and Richard, a student at Lower Columbia Junior College; a sister, Miss Irmgard Hensel of Marshfield, WI; two brothers, Rev. Paul Hensel of Manitowac, WI, and Fred Hensel of Riverside, CA.

Services will be announced by Steele Funeral Home.
