Carol Jean Allen, 59, of Owenton, Ky., died Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2004, at her residence.

She was born Nov. 18, 1944, in Indianapolis, the daughter of Earl and Anna Dwenger Dennis. She was a homemaker and attended Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Raymond Allen; five sons, Edger Rose of Trimble County, Scott and John Rose of Owen County, Alex Rose of Owenton, and Adam Rose of Carrollton; four daugthers, Christina Wilson of Owen County, Paula Law of Campbellsburg, Kelly Stephens of Versallies and Patsy Cron of Eagle Creek Resort, Owen County; three stepchildren, Larry Ray Allen of Baltimore, Md., Gary Wayne Allen of Dearborn County and Pamela Sue of Ripley County; 40 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Graham-Dunn Funeral Home, with burial at Moffett Cemetery.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today and after 10 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
