Funeral Services for Dortha M. Dishman, 87, of Algood will be held Friday, June 7 at 1 pm at Presley Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Lane officiating. Burial will follow in Brotherton Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday, June 7, 2013 12 noon until service time at the funeral home.
Ms. Dishman passed away Tuesday evening, June 4, 2013 at her home in Algood.
She was born September 2, 1925 in Putnam County, TN to the late Jimmie and Ella West Swallows.
Ms. Dishman was a homemaker. She was a loving mother and a caring grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Clay Dishman; son, Carl Dishman; Great granddaughter, Kortney Dickens.
Ms. Dishman is survived by 4 daughters, Mary Ann Allen, Beulah Roberts & husband Bobby all of Cookeville, Linda Hart of Algood, Goldie Dickens & husband Sam of Florida; 1 son, Joe Dishman & wife Jean; Sister Emogene Neal; brother, Odell Swallows all of Cookeville; 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Barry Roberts, Kevin, Michael, and Eric Dishman, Andy Alcorn and Tom Hayes.
