Joshua, "of Boston", died aged 95 years.

"An interesting interment is that of Joshua Bentley who rowed Paul Revere across the Charles River on the night of April 18th, 1775 prior to his ride into Middlesex County to warn of approaching British regular army soldiers."

Thanks to FaG member John Glassford for figuring this out, and Denise for the added note.

His story continues. All veterans of the revolution have an iron "SAR" flag holder/marker badge that gets staked next to their headstone. Joshua's went missing and turned up in Arizona. It was retrieved from there - well, follow the story here: https://www.boston25news.com/video?videoId=734297905&videoVersion=2.0 and the ceremony here: http://schedule.thegrotonchannel.org/Cablecast/public-site/index.html#/show/6725?channel=1

There was a ceremonious return of his SAR marker by a Michigan chapter of the SAR, which was televised by DCAT here: http://schedule.thegrotonchannel.org/Cablecast/public-site/index.html#/show/6725?channel=1

And a further episode dedicated to interviews with respect to Joshua here: http://schedule.thegrotonchannel.org/Cablecast/public-site/index.html#/show/6728?channel=1
