Several discrepancies can be found regarding his birth date. His grave marker shows Oct 15, 1888. An Official Certificate of Birth from the Providence of Ontario, Dominion of Canada shows his birth date on Oct 16, 1889. HIs WWII Draft registration shows this same Oct 16, 1889, but his WWI draft registration shows it being Oct 15, 1888. HIs death certificate shows it off by one day as Oct 15, 1889 vs. the Official Certificate from Canada. I believe one should go with that as reported by the Providence of Ontario, Canada.
