Services for Anna Lee Smith Allen, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, at Mt. Wade M.B. Church in Brookhaven with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery. Williams Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.Visitation is Friday from 1 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home, with family hour on Saturday from 10 until 11 a.m. at the church.
Mrs. Allen, 65, died Dec. 3, 2006, at King's Daughters Medical Center. She was born in Lincoln County on Nov. 2, 1941, to Elton Smith Sr. and Mary L. Smith.
She was a 1960 graduate of Alexander High School. She was retired from Potter Company in Wesson in 1977, and was a homemaker. She was a member of Mt. Wade M.B. Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Bobby Day Allen; her sisters, Agnes Hunter and Leona Young; her uncles, Johnnie B. Bell, J.C. Bell and Gus Bell; and her great-niece, Deja Robinson.
Survivors are her daughter, Shelia Wilson, and husband Johnny Ray "Louis,"of Brookhaven; her granddaughters, Sabena Allen, of Brookhaven, Shannon Allen, of Hattiesburg, and Brittany Lewis, of Brookhaven; her grandson,Sebastian Wilson Sr., of Hattiesburg; her godson, Derrick Johnson, of Monticello;her four great-grandchildren; her grandgodchild; her sisters, Annie RDiane Wallace and husband Darnie, and Shirley Harris, all of Brookhaven Her brothers, Belbert Smith and wife Bertha, Willie B.
