Norma Ruth Allen, 89, Kuttawa, Ky., sister of a Columbia resident, passed away Saturday, June 1, 2013, in Caldwell County Medical Center in Princeton, Ky.
Burial in Kuttawa Cemetery in Kuttawa, Ky.
Mrs. Allen was retired from the former Arvin Industries in Princeton, Ky. She was a member of the Kegler Ladies Bowling League in Princeton. She was a babysitter for several Lyon County children during her years, she loved the water and water skiing. She was a member of Kuttawa United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm Braxton Allen; her daughter, Patricia Allen Bennett; her son-in-law, Robert "Bob" Bennett; three brothers, R.L. England, Neil England and Russell England; and four sisters, Margaret Goad, Louise Murphy, Atta Mae Scahbrough and Kathryn Ford.
Her parents were Robert Lee England Sr and Nora Kate Williams England.
