DEATH OF R. A. RHULAND

R. A. Rhuland died at 11 o'clock Saturday morning after a long and debilitating illness. Mr. Rhuland removed with his family to this city two months since for medical treatment. In spite of all that could be done the disease undermined his system, and the hopes of his friends which were encouraged by favorable symptoms, were blighted when Saturday morning at 2 o'clock he relapsed and grew worse. His wife and daughter, Alice, remain of the family. An only son, Reuben, was drowned in the Cottonwood some eight years ago.

The funeral was in charge of the A. O. U. W., assisted by Rev. Sauerber, and was held at 2 p.m. from the residence, No. 14 South Merchant street Sunday.
