G. Keith Haney
G. Keith HANEY, 23, Rt. 2, Akron, died at 9:10 a.m. Tuesday in his home. He had been in ill health for 4 1/2 years.
He was born March 10, 1964 in Rochester to Maurice R. and Julia Ann CLINKER HANEY. He was a dairy farmer. He was a member of the Beaver Dam United Methodist Church, the Kosciusko County Holstein Association, the Associated Milk Producers cooperative and the Dairy Herd Improvement Association. He was a former member and president of the Future Farmers of America, a former member of the Beaver Dam 4-H Club, and was president of his 1982 Tippecanoe Valley High School class.
Surviving with the parents are a brother, Kevin [HANEY], Akron; a sister, Kathy LEMAN, Francesville; the maternal grandmother, Lena CLINKER, Akron; the paternal grandmother, Doris HANEY, Akron; two maternal aunts, Wilma CLINKER, Akron, and Carol BUTTS, Warsaw; a paternal aunt, Marilyn ADAMS, Akron; two paternal uncles, Fred HANEY, Akron, and Leslie HANEY, Goshen; and three nephews, Orville, Barney and Jeremiah HANEY, all of Akron. He was preceded in death by both grandfathers, Gerald CLINKER and Fred D. HANEY.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Beaver Dam United Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert JARBOE officiating. Burial will be in the Akron Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron, from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday, and on Friday at the church for an hour before services. Memorials may be made to Riley Hospital for Children's Cancer Research Program
