MRS. E. WHITEHEAD
Elizabeth (Arnold), widow of Walter Scott Whitehead, died today at her home, 141 Peach street, aged 61 years. Death followed an illness of two weeks. She was a native and lifelong resident of Reading and was a member of St. James Lutheran Church. She was a daughter of the late James and Sarah (Boyer) Arnold.
There survive these children: James Hart, William, Walter, Albert, Paul, Howard and Carl Whitehead; Susan, wife of Charles Swavely; Sarah, wife of Bernard Kohler; Elizabeth, wife of Roy Stoyer; Eva, wife of Raymond Strause; and Esther, wife of Arthur Coleman, all of Reading; 28 grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters, Paris and Howard Arnold; Mrs. Minnie Brown, and Mrs. Harry Graeff, all of Reading.
Funeral Directors T C Auman, Inc. are in charge. The Rev. A. C. Schenck will conduct services Saturday at 1:30. Interment in Charles Evans Cemetery.
