Obituary of Myrtle Welch
Mrs. Welch, 86, of Osterburg RD died Thursday, Oct. 22, 1981, in Bedford County Memorial Hospital.
She was born Jan. 3, 1895, in Altoona, the daughter of William and Elizabeth (Ickes) Mock, and was twice married, first to Clyde B. Acker, then to Eldon H. Welch.
Surviving are her husband, six children: Paul Acker of Baltimore, Md.; Glenn Acker of Chambersburg, Marie McBride of Altoona, Charles Acker in West Virginia, Joseph Acker of Claysburg and Lee Acker of Osterburg; 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Welch was a member of the Imler Reformed Church.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the Edward Blackburn Funeral Home, Pleasantville.

WELCH -- Services for Myrtle Welch of Osterburg RD will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Edward Blackburn Funeral Home, Pleasantville, by the Rev. Charles Rhodes. Interment in Imler Valley Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home.
