Miss M.E. Burlingham
Died in this village on Thursday morning Jan. 25th, 1883, aged 30 years. Deceased was only sick nine days, being afflicted with acute cerebro menengetis. On Sunday afternoon of last week her remains were borne to the silent "city of the dead," followed by a very large number of sympathizing friends, who sincerely mourn her loss. She was a young lady whom all respected very highly, being the possessor of a kind and amiable disposition, which gathered around her a host of loving friends, who now talk of her sad and sudden death.
