He served with the U.S. Navy in WW II and was a retired machinist of the Letterkenny Army Depot. He and Louise were the owners/operators of a golf driving range and mini golf course next to their Fayetteville home. He also owned Hair's Machine Shop.
Ralph was a member of the Charles M. Nitterhouse Post 1599 VFW and the National Association For Retired Federal Employees.
He was survived by his wife, 2 sons, Ret. Major Benjamin Hair of Texas, Michael of Chambersburg; and six grandchildren.
