Chris Eva Cherry

Christine (Chris) Eva Cherry rejoined her Heavenly Father Jan. 9, 2005, after struggling through a long illness.

She was a mother to James Romero, Anna Romero, Jason Cherry, Stevie Cherry and Angela Cherry, all currently living in Grantsville. She is also survived by her husband Stephen Cherry and other family members in New Mexico.

Chris was born in Taos, N.M. on Nov. 4, 1955 to Earnest and Tavita Romero. She has six brothers and four sisters.

Her humor and quick wit will be missed by all who knew her. She was a loving friend who gave everything within her means to make life better or easier for anyone who needed her. She was a good mother. Her children were truly her life. She was a beautiful person.

Chris was preceded in death by her mother and father and her youngest brother.

A Memorial Service will be held at the LDS Meeting House, 550 E. Durfee St. in Grantsville on Wednesday, Jan. 12, at 1 p.m. In accordance with her wishes, the family is requesting no flowers, please.
