Mrs. Mary Amelia Washburn died Friday evening at her home on East South street. She was the daughter of John and Mary Elliott, and was born north of Princeton, in Dover township, fifty-four years ago. She leaves behind her daughter and constant companion through life, Miss Chris Washburn; two brothers, Col. I. H. Elliott, of Roswell, N.M., and a sister, Mrs. G. W. Stone, of Chicago. Remains were buried in Oakland.

NOTE: Mary was married to Andrew Washburn of Mass. born about 1841 and passed away between 1870 and 1880. Andrew J. Washburn died Oct. 14, 1887 Boston, MA
