Minnie Clark
ARCOLA — Minnie Gertrude Clark, 92, of Arcola, died at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday (Nov. 26, 2003) at Tuscola Nightingale Manor.
The funeral will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Arcola United Methodist Church with the Rev. Margaret Misal officiating. Burial will be in the Arcola Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday at the church. Shrader Funeral Home, Arcola, is in charge of the arrangements.
She was born May 18, 1911, in Hindsboro, the daughter of Amos M. and Ida Blankenbaker Allen. She married Frank A. Clark in 1934; he died in 1968.
Surviving are one son, Terry Clark of Bloomingdale, Ind.; three daughters, Jan Tay of Camargo, Barbara "Windy" Frost of Champaign and Bonnie Allen of Marietta, Ga.; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by one son, one brother and two sisters.
Mrs. Clark, and her husband, operated the Sweet Shop in Arcola. She had also worked at Arcola Collegiate Cap & Gown and was a member of the Arcola United Methodist Church.
Memorials may be made to the Arcola United Methodist Church, Diabetes Foundation, Parkinson's Foundation or to the donor's choice.
