Billy 'Bill' Dean Carwile

Billy "Bill" Dean Carwile, 80, of Decatur, passed away on Friday, June 7, 2013, at Huntsville Hospital. A graveside service will be today at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Cemetery Mausoleum with Roselawn Funeral Home directing.

He retired from Fedders Air Conditioning company and he was a member of 1st Baptist Church of Decatur. He was preceded in death by his father, William Bryant (Bill) Carwile; and his sister, Margaret Knighten.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Maxie Carwile of Decatur; daughter, Jo Bragg of Huntsville; mother, Ruby Estelle Carwile of Athens; brothers, Maurice Wayne Carwile of Athens and David Nathan Carwile of Jacksonville Florida; two grandsons; and one great-granddaughter.

Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Hogan, Jerry Flowers, Dr. Mike Lowery, and Don Simpson.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, please give to your favorite charity .
