She was the daughter of August Sandgren Carlsson and Selma Olivia Svensdotter.
On May 24, 1903 as Ellen Sandgren, she married Herman Abrahamson in King County, Washington.
Ellen V. Abrahamson was born in Sweden and came to Seattle 73 years ago in 1893. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church. She died at age 81 at the Columbia Lutheran Home. She was a resident of 2703 37th Avenue Southwest. She was predeceased by her husband, Herman Abrahamson in 1955. Survivors included one son, Vernon Abrahamson [1909-1978]; one daughter, Mrs. John (Marjorie) Kasperson [1911-2012]; seven grandchildren; one sister, Esther Sandgren and one brother, Arthur Sandgren, all of Seattle. Funeral services were held at the West Home Chapel. Interment was in Lake View.
