James Horace Addicoat came to Seattle from Cornwall, England in 1937 [1914 according to his March 11, 1936 Naturalization Record]. He was the sexton of St. Mark's Cathedral for 23 years. Then he went to work for the Boeing Company as a stationary engineer. He was a member of Local No. 751, Aero Mechanics Union and the cathedral parish. He died at the age of 66 years on Friday at the Boeing Medical Center at Plant No. 2. He was a resident of 14650 16th Avenue Southwest. Funeral services were at the Thomsen Memorial Chapel at St. Mark's Cathedral. Arrangements were by Bonney-Watson Co. Burial was in Lake View Cemetery. Survivors included his wife, Doris; two daughters, Phyllis Addicoat of Seattle and Mrs. Robert (Clara Mae) Crume of Cocoa, Florida; one son, Lloyd J. Addicoat of Bellevue; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Robert (Joy) Cheshier of Bothell and seven grandchildren.
