Age 95, she was the daughter of the late William R. and Kate Yaple Allen. Mrs. Diehl was a graduate of Fort LeBoeuf High School. A member of Summit Methodist Church, she had worked at the Boston Store for several years prior to working at the Glenwood Golf Course for 32 years, where her husband was the golf professional.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl, in 1963, six sisters, Hazel Allen, Grace Vandervort, Margaret Turnbull, Mabel Allen, Leah Skiff, and Louise Gardner; and two brothers, Fred and Theodore Allen.
Survivors include a sister, Barbara Feist, of San Diego, Calif. and a brother, Lloyd Allen, of Springhill, Fla.
