DAWSON, WILLIAM O., of 556 Palmer Blvd., Fortuna. Nov. 26, 1969. Husband of Cassandra Dawson of Fortuna. Father of Mrs. Lois Sherman of Fortuna and William A. Dawson of Hayward. He is survived by eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He lived in Humboldt County since 1963, prior to his retirement he had been a farmer. A native of California, age 89. Funeral services will be held at the Sanders Funeral Home, Sat., Nov. 29 at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Richard McKinsey of Fortuna officiating. Private interment will follow in Ocean View Cemetery. The family requests memorial contributions be sent to the Humboldt County Heart Fund or the Humboldt County Cancer Society.
