She was married to Frederick Englebert (from Bremen, Germany) in SC. They had several children and then around 1840 they moved to Alabama where they had the rest of their children. They lived a short time in Pickens County, Alabama then moved on a farm in Tuscaloosa, AL. Her grave and her husbands gravesite is on their sons property on a hill overlooking the farm.

The Tuscaloosa Times 1881-1886 Sep 16, 1885 Wednesday 3:4 NORTHPORT: Mrs. Englebert, an old an respected lady, died at the residence of her son, Mr. Dock Englebert on the 10th inst. (Dock Englebert was her son William Brownlee Englebert)
