Funeral services for Mrs. Joyce Mae Brazzel Eley, age 68 of Dubach, LA will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, May 13, 2013 at Corinth Baptist Church in Dubach. Officiating the service will be Rev. Scott Jennings and Rev. "Runt" Warren. Burial will follow in Corinth Cemetery under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Ruston, LA.
Mrs. Eley was born November 7, 1944 in Dubach, LA to Malvin Brazzel and Ophelia Stephenson Brazzel. She died May 10, 2013 in Ruston, LA after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Eley was a member of Corinth Baptist Church.
Mrs. Eley is survived by her two sons: Jerry Eley and Tony Eley; her six grandchildren: Jonathan Scott Monk, Heather Eley, Jacob Eley, Savannah Eley, Hunter Eley and Tanner "Taz" Eley; three sisters: Nelda Youngblood, Jane Inman and Mary Warrick; two brothers: Larry Brazzel and Jolee Brazzel and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Vernon Roy Eley; son: Kenneth Wade (NeNe) Eley and her brother: Alvin Ray Brazzel.
