Maud was the daughter of Moses Dewald Karper and Fannie Melinda Karper. Maud was married to Guy Rossman and was survived by him, three sons (Guy K., Robert, Harold) and a daughter (Mildred). Maud, according to Cedar Grove Cemetery records, is buried at plot F150 with members of the Rossman family. However, her name is not on the headstone and there is no grave marker. Her siblings Mabel, Henry, Martin and Helen are buried nearby. Her sister Bertha Karper Nitterhouse is buried in Norland Cemetery in Chambersburg, PA. and brother John is buried in Waynesboro, Pa. Maud's parents and sister Fannie are buried in Tacoma, Washington.
