Mrs. Mary E. (Swank) Buss, 73, wife of Edmund L. Buss, died suddenly of a heart attack at 10:15 last night at her home, 295 Barney street, city.
Mrs. Buss was a well-known and esteemed city resident. She was a member of the Dana Street Evangelical Church, and was active in several societies. She was also affiliated with Chapter 90, Order of Eastern Star.
Besides her husband she is survived by a son, Orville S. Buss of Wilkes-Barre, and Mrs. Schuler, wife of Dr. W. H. Schuler of Easton, and a brother George Swank of Greensburg.
The funeral service will be held at the late home Thursday afternoon at 1, with interment in Pine Grove cemetery, Berwick.
