John Joseph "Johnny" Brooks, 62 years of age, passed away on Saturday, June 25, 1983, at the Veterans Hospital. Johnny was born in Kansas City, Kansas, and was a lifelong Greater Kansas City resident, making his home at 444 West 12th Street. He had been a self-employed painter. Mr. Brooks was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion. He was a member of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.
Survived by three sisters, Mrs. Marie Zugecich, Mrs. Ann Dercher and Miss Jo Brooks, all of Kansas City, Kansas. Services were private.
