Final Rites Said For Miss Freeman December 26
Final rites were said December 26, for Miss Nellie Freeman, 53, of Shawmut, services having been conducted from the Macedonia Baptist church, Tuesday afternoon.
She is survived by five brothers: R. W. Freeman, Heard county; J. J. Freeman of Shawmut; L. W. and N. M. Freeman of LaGrange; B. O. Freeman of Wehadkee; and two sisters, Mrs. J. A. Bryan of Shawmut and Mrs. Sid Russell of Tuscumbia; also 30 nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were her nephews: Clifford, Gamy, Roy and Manley Freeman, Paul and Troy Bryan. Burial was in the churchyard at Macedonia, conducted by Johnson and Company.
