Jimmy Albright was the son of George and MaryAnn (Jones) Albright of Scranton PA. He was my mother's brother although she never knew him since he passed away exactly eight months before she was born. I have never seen a photograph of him but I do know that he was engaged to be married when he was taken ill in the first wave of the 1918 flu epidemic and died at the age of nineteen. It was said that he was Scranton's first victim of that terrible epidemic. Uncle Jimmy was buried in the Washburn Street Cemetery in Scranton where, many years later, his parents and brothers Johnnie, Fred, and George were also laid to rest. His little sister Elizabeth, who died at the age of three, was also buried there.
