Carlisle Strader
Funeral services for Carlisle Strader, 63, a former Lexington resident, who died Thursday at his home, 2215 Bonnycastle avenue, Louisville, after a six-month illness will be held at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon at Springdale Cemetery, Madison, Ind., his birthplace.
Mr. Strader was owner and operator of the Strader Chemical and Supply Company, Louisville, until he became ill. Only child of the late Samuel M. and Lettie C. Strader, he attended school in Madison and was graduated from Howe Military Academy, Howe, Ind. Mr. Strader was a commercial traveler in Kentucky and Tennessee before establishing his own business.
He was a resident of Lexington from 1920 to 1931 and held membership in the Episcopal church.
He is survived by his wife, the former Rose Dickerson, sister of Charles G. Dickerson, Rosemont Garden.
