Funeral services for Mr. Vern M. Krom, 48, of 1138 North Elm, who died suddenly at the home of his sister at Omaha, Neb. Sunday night, will be held tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock at the Danielson-Ball Chapel. Rev. Arvin G. Swanson, assistant pastor of the Methodist Church, will officiate at the service. Friends may call at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 9 o'clock. Interment will be in Crestwood Memorial Park Cemetery north of McPherson. The Veterans of Foreign Wars will be in charge of the committal service.

Mr. Krom was born on May 26, 1909, at St. Francis, Kas., son of Walter and Lulu Williams Krom. He was married on Nov. 11, 1944, to Viola Garrelts at Denver. He farmed in the New Gottland community until a year ago when he moved to McPherson and became associated with the Church Lumber Company. He was a member of the Methodist Church.

Survivors include the widow; two children, Lynn and Louise; his mother; Mrs. Lulu Krom, Longmont, Colo.; one sister, Mrs. Vida Morrison, Omaha; and one brother, Victor Krom, Longmont.
