Eldon L. Badertscher, 85, of rural Tecumseh, passed away June 11, 2013 at the Johnson County Hospital in Tecumseh. He was born to Fred and Frieda (Pfister) Badertscher on Jan. 6, 1928 at rural Tecumseh, NE. WWII Navy Veteran and farmer.

Survivors: wife, Aloma (Heidemann) Badertscher of Tecumseh, children, Roger Badertscher and wife Joyce of Tecumseh, Carol Ehlers of Steinauer, Randy Badertscher of Bern, KS, Ron Badertscher of Tecumseh and Royce Badertscher and wife Nancy of Tecumseh, 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, brothers, Elmer Badertscher and wife Vonny Blairsville, GA, Delmar Badertscher and special friend Ruth Holben of Tecumseh, sisters, Esther Hassan of Riverside, CA, Erma Wright and husband Don of Lincoln and Ruth Bray and special friend Donald Othmer of Tecumseh, many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents,brothers, Gene and Wayne Badertscher,son-in-law, John Ehlers and brother-in-law, Ned Hassan.

Funeral services will be held at the St. Paul's United Church of Christ, (Maple Grove) rural Tecumseh, Nebraska at 3:00 o'clock Saturday, June 15, 2013 with Rev. Kathy Rahorst officiating. Visitation will be at the Wherry Mortuary in Tecumseh, Nebraska, Friday, June 14, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with family greeting friends from 5-7 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials may go to the family's choice. Interment will be in the St. Paul's United Church of Christ (Maple Grove) Cemetery, rural Tecumseh, Nebraska
