MRS. LINDSEY DEAD
Mrs. Daniel Lindsey died after a week's illness Saturday at the home of the family six miles southeast of Arcola. She had been feeling so much better Saturday that she arose from bed about noon and dressed. While sitting on the bed eating an orange she screamed and fell backwards, dying instantly.
Funeral services, which were largely attended, were held Monday afternoon at the family home. Rev. H. F. [?]remaine, a former pastor of the Hindsboro M. F. church, officiating. Interment was in the Arcola cemetery.
Mrs. Lindsey was Miss Viola Haddock before her marriage and was born near Tuscola March 27, 1870. She grew to womanhood there and was married to Daniel Lindsey Nov. 13, 1888. Her husband and two children, Warren Lindsey and Mrs. Roy Gardner, residents of this community, survive.
