Howard F Brunton, 91, of Germantown, (formerly of Palos Heights, IL) died on March 28, 2013. He was born on November 5, 1921, in Mt. Pleasant Michigan to Elmer and Florence Mae Brunton. Howard grew up in Paxton, Illinois, was a WWII Army veteran, and then lived and worked as a realtor on Chicago's southside. He was a Shriner and, as an avid golfer, was a lifetime member of the Olympia Fields Country Club. He was preceded in death by his sister Margaret Smith. Howard leaves his wife of 66 years, Phyllis, his children Ronald Brunton (Sue), Craig Brunton (Patricia), Kathy Linn (John). He also leaves his grandchildren Daniel Linn (Meghan), Kelly Linn Nicholas (Dan), Timothy Linn (Kristin), Micah Linn, Joseph Linn, Samuel Linn, Peter Linn, Andrew Brunton, Colin Brunton, Laura Brunton, and Eric Brunton, and great grandchildren Nathan Linn, Miriam Linn, Titus Linn, Axen Linn, and Emily Nicholas. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., on Monday, April 1, at Riveroaks Reformed Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be sent to the Shriner's Hospital.
