Mr. Carroll was an active member of Hendersonville First United Methodist Church. He was a World War II Navy veteran, where he served on the USS Makin Island. He was a retired electrician for Travis Electric. He will be remembered for his passion for airplanes and golfing. Mr. Carroll was a member of the Hendersonville R/C Flying Club.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Eura and Lucy Carroll.
