DEATH OF A. P. AKE

After an illness of more than a year, following a stroke of paralysis, A. P. Ake passed away at noon yesterday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Oscar H. Schultz, 2220 Stone Street. Three days before his death he suffered a second stroke, from which he failed to rally, and his demise had been expected hourly since that time. For seven years Mr. and Mrs. Ake have lived in this city at the home of their daughter.

The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon at the Oscar H. Schultz residence at two-thirty. Father James Noble conducting the funeral service according to the rites of the Episcopal church. Interment will be in Steele cemetery.

A. P. Ake was born in Pennsylvania in August, 1853, and died July 3, 1926 aged seventy-two years and eleven months. He is survived by his wife, his daughter, Mrs. Oscar H. Schultz and his son, Adolphus Ake of Beatrice.
