Albert David McQuillan "Red", beloved husband, father, grand and great-grandfather, age 78, passed away May 7, 2001 in a Salt Lake Hospital following complications after surgery.

Born March 6, 1923 in Salt Lake City to William James and Charlotte Emma Jackson McQuillan.

Married Agnes Smith Nov. 16, 1941 in Elko, NV. She preceded him in death on July 10, 2000.

Albert served in the Army during World War II where he received a Purple Heart. He worked for Kennecott for over 31 years. He had a love for gardening, fishing, trap shooting, and hunting. Above all he especially loved his children and grandchildren.

"We'll love and miss you Dad" Survivors: children, David (Verda), So. Jordan; Dale, Tooele; Diann (Brent) Long, So. Jordan; Sandra (Lynn) Clayburn, Sandy; 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, two brothers, George and Bill.

Funeral services will be held Friday 2 p.m., May 11, 2001 at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State, Murray, where friends may call Thursday from 6-8 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to services. Interment Murray City Cemetery.
