Vera was the wife of JD Dunn, who later passed away July 9, 1964.
Two of her twelve children preceded her in death, as did her mother, Florence Mae O'Bryant Rushing. A son, Billie died in infancy and another son, Charlie was killed as young boy when he fell from a hay wagon.
Leaving behind ten children; James, JD Wayne, Bobby, Helen, Willie, Norris, Neil, John, and Steve Dunn; Mrs. Leland Moore, and several grandchildren.
She is survived by her father, Jesse L. Rushing of Jackson, Mississippi and a sister, Mrs. Estelle Moore of Arlington, Texas.
Mrs. Dunn, a native of Mississippi, had lived in Indianapolis six years.
Services were at Flanner and Buchanan Broad Ripple Mortuary.
