Daughter of the late James and Della Holbrook Maxey; wife of the late J.R. McCall, to whom she was married for over 55 years.

Graduate of Ebenezer High School; Valedictorian of her class.

Retired from Singer Corporation; member of Cateechee Baptist Church.

Survived by a son and daughter-in-law; two daughters and sons-in-law; three brothers and a sister; six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

Predeceased by a brother, Clayton Maxey; and a sister, Nettie Pilgrim.

Funeral services: Sunday, March 7, 2004, Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.

Burial: Greenlawn Memorial Park.
