Annie M. Barrow, infant daughter of Samuel & Maria, died of premature birth at 24 Russ Street on 12 Jan 1869, a native of San Francisco, aged 5 days.

Note: Name varies btwn 1869 SF mortuary & Mt Calvary Cemetery recs-
Annie M. Barrow | Anna M. Barrows

Originally buried in Mount Calvary Cemetery (SF/defunct), joining her mother who died of a cardiac event the day of Annie's birth.

During the extensive 1940 Calvary removal project, 71 years after death or baby and mother, workers noted that they found no remains of any kind at the 2 graves. Their final resting place/s are unclear. Either they returned to the earth at Calvary, or perhaps found their way to the general reburial area of Holy Cross (Colma) during the project without documentation.

Or, surviving family may have privately removed their remains to another location, perhaps even another state. Census records suggest that Samuel (father/husband) may have remarried and settled in Arizona.
