Funeral services for Mrs. Vida Wren, 74, Palestine, who died unexpectedly Saturday morning, were held Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at the Judson Baptist Church at Cayuga.
The services were conducted by the Rev. H.C. Funderburk. Burial was in the Judson Cemetery.
Mrs. Wren, a native of Cayuga, was stricken suddenly ill in a neighborhood grocery store in Palestine and died shortly afterward.
Surviving are three sons, Homer Wren and Oren Wren of Palestine, and Roy Wren of Cayuga; three brothers, A.G. Godley of Cayuga, Lawrence Godley of Arkansas and Travis Godley of Bethel, and one sister, Mrs. Nettie Leavelle of Hemet, California.
